Business data valuation
What could your business data be worth?
Use company size to view the directional payout ranges currently published by LicenseData.io. The result is a broad reference—not a valuation, offer, or guarantee.
A real opportunity depends on the records available, your rights to license them, privacy requirements, data quality, uniqueness, and buyer demand.
Directional estimate
Estimate by employee count
Choose a company size to see the broad payout range currently published by LicenseData.io.
Enter an employee count to view a directional range.
Employee count alone cannot determine eligibility or value. Ranges are not guaranteed valuations, offers, or payouts.
How to read the estimate
The estimate tool maps employee count to the directional ranges shown on our homepage. It does not inspect your systems, measure your records, or calculate a company-specific price.
Companies with fewer than 20 employees do not have a published range in this tool. That does not determine whether a company can qualify; it means we do not display a range for that size.
- 20–50 employees: $50,000–$500,000
- 50–200 employees: $500,000–$1,000,000
- 200+ employees: $1,000,000+
What can change a potential licensing value?
Employee count is only a starting point. A buyer may care about the amount of usable history, whether records are complete and representative, how distinctive the workflow is, and whether the data can be licensed for a specific purpose.
The systems a business uses do not by themselves establish that its records are available, lawful to license, or useful to a buyer. Contract terms, privacy obligations, third-party rights, preparation costs, and buyer requirements all matter.
Our approach and its limits
LicenseData.io acts as a broker connecting businesses with potential AI data buyers; we are not a direct data buyer. We help assess fit and coordinate discussions. Any transaction would define the records, permitted uses, duration, handling, and commercial terms before data is shared.
The published ranges are directional estimates, not guaranteed compensation. No estimate is an offer, appraisal, or promise of revenue.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a guaranteed valuation?
No. The range is directional and uses employee count only. A potential transaction depends on data rights, quality, volume, uniqueness, privacy review, and buyer demand.
Do I need to upload company data to get started?
No. Start with a high-level description of your business and the records it may have. Do not send customer records, confidential files, or sensitive data through the initial inquiry form.
